Happy Days
On the evening of Friday, May 11th at 7 PM at the Church of the Holy Comforter in downtown Burlington, we will be presenting the musical Happy Days, based on the 1970s Garry Marshall sitcom of the same name. Tickets will be $5 per person. This theatre opportunity involves several of our Burlington Christian Academy students, former students, and even one of your faculty members.

If you're free that evening, we hope that you will stop by the Holy Comforter auditorium and join us as we travel back to the fabulous 50s and Arnold's Drive-In for some family fun, nostalgic laughter, and oldie-goldie tunes.

Steel Magnolias
In March 2012, the BCA Theatre Department will be presenting the classic Southern comedy Steel Magnolias. The story of six women living in small-town Louisiana, this show is a true testament to the strength and tenacity of Southern women in the face of adversity and devastating grief, and their ability to find humor in even the most difficult of times. The BCA theatre department collected $150 in donations for the show. This money has been donated to the Piedmont Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in honor of Hannah Beaddles, Class of 2013.

Broadway Bound
In April of 2011, the Theatre Department continued their theatrical endeavors by putting on Broadway Bound, BCA's first ever musical revue. The show featured ballads, comedic numbers, and showstoppers from musical theatre productions over the past 70 years. It is our hope that this will become a yearly tradition at BCA.
